We recognise that children often require additional support that is ‘additional to’ and ‘different from’ other children in a class.
Teaching staff at MJPS are committed to ensuring that learning is individualised ensuring that each child is motivated and challenged at their own level. Teachers work hard to get to know children and families from the outset ensuring that they are able to meet a range of differing needs and learning styles, which aims to provide the child with special support to achieve measurable and realistic targets.
Children who have a specific area of need are given an SEN Support Plan which is reviewed throughout the year. Children, parents and the school are very much part of this process.
We recognise that having a child with a specific need can be challenging and at times frustrating. We are fully committed to supporting any children with additional needs providing them with the very best education possible.
At Mosaic Jewish Primary School we believe that all children should receive an education that motivates and allows them to succeed and achieve. We strive to provide creative and challenging lessons that meet the needs of the individual.
It is important to note that our Gifted and Talented (G&T) register is fluid and flexible and therefore your child will not necessarily remain on it indefinitely. It is monitored, reviewed and updated on a termly basis.
