Our caterpillars are turning into butterflies!

Our caterpillars are turning into butterflies!

We have been observing and recording the life cycle of the butterfly. Watching the eggs turn into caterpillars that have now formed cocoons. We are really looking forward to seeing the butterflies.

Come and support our stall at the Wimbledon and District Synagogue Summer Fair – Sunday 8th June

At the fair there will be a bouncy castle, sumo suits, even a bucking bronco!  Fun for all ages 🙂  PLUS food – falafel, fish n’chips, ice cream, cakes, strawberries n cream, PIMMS and much more!  There will also be stalls selling items such as Stella & Dot Jewellery, Phoenix Cards, Pampered Chef, scarves, plants, chocolate, books and more (stalls still available). Friends of Mosaic will be running a Tombola stall to raise money for the school and would love to see you there.

Mosaic’s New School is in for Planning

Our Planning application to Wandsworth Council was submitted in mid-April. We have developed really exciting designs with Miller Construction and their architect that many people will have seen. There are totally new classrooms all with access to outdoor learning space on terraces above the garden. There is a school hall for assemblies and for indoor gym and sports. The old Hartfield House will hold school offices and specialist rooms, eg Design and Technology. And we have retained a large garden area for outdoor play.

Our Planning application will be decided in July. The Council will be looking for public views on the proposals. We will let everyone know the internet link for making comments. It would be great if people who support the proposals can let the Council know either by internet or by writing in.
