Diana Muallem

Chair of Governors 

Member

Diana has been a school governor for over 20 years working with both primary and secondary schools.   In addition to her role at Mosaic she is currently a member of the Every Day Every Child Multi Academy Trust and Vice Chair of Grey Court School Local Governing Body.  Diana is an independent education consultant and has extensive experience of providing consultancy services to awarding bodies and regulatory and government bodies.  Her areas of expertise include modern languages, apprenticeships, post-16 and adult education policy and implementation.  Since 2011 she has been an education advisor to the Department for Education on vocational and technical education. 

Vicky Williams

Vice Chair of Governors

Member

Vicky was appointed to the Governing Body in September 2014.  She is an experienced HR Director starting her career in retail in Marks and Spencer.  She then went to join the Compass Group as an HR Manager leaving 21 years later as an HR Director.  Vicky is currently Director of People at the Lawn Tennis Association.  She has supported the new CEO in recruiting his senior team and sits on the LTA Executive.  For 10 years up to 2011 Vicky was Chair of Governors at Sheen Mount Primary School in East Sheen.  During her time as Chair, the school built a new hall, became a phased 3 form entry and playing to Vicky’s recruiting skills recruited 2 Deputies and a new Headteacher.  During the last few years she has missed being part of school life and is looking forward to being part of the MJPS community.  She is married to a barrister and has twins aged 17 who leave school next year. 

Shirley Lee

Governor

Member

Shirley is a governor and the founding chair of the MJPS Governing Board until 2017.   She was previously vice-chair of governors in a Surrey primary school.   She trained as a teacher in Scotland but completed her Masters Degree in England.   She was a Principal Lecturer at University of Roehampton, working with trainee teachers, experienced teachers and senior school managers.  As an Educational Consultant she has led the development and quality assurance of new initiatives with schools, teacher training providers and organisations both in the UK and Europe.  She has experience as an Ofsted inspector and trainer.   Shirley was involved in the Jewish Teacher Training Partnership for many years and was Chair of the Jewish Resource Centre at University of Roehampton.  Shirley and her husband have two children and three young grandchildren. 

Jo has worked in education for the last 25 years.  Her first degree was in Sociology (B.Sc>Hons) University of the Southbank London followed by a B.A.(Honours) in Social work from Bar-Ilan University Israel.  She has several Early Years and Management qualifications and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.  She has recently retired as Head of Higher Education, Counselling and Early and Early Years at Kingston College where she was the Director of the Foundation Degrees in Early Years which are validated by Kingston University.  She continues to work in Education at Roehampton University.   Additionally, Jo has previous experience as a school governor.  Mrs Dallal acts as an external examiner for Trinity St David’s University of Wales and Bucks New University.

David Gold

Governor

David joined the Governing Body in January 2019.  He is a qualified chartered accountant who has spent 5 years auditing single and multi-academy trusts during spells at Buzzacott and UHY Hacker Young.  David has a daughter at Mosaic and in his day job, works as the Finance Manager for Adzuna, a job search engine based in Fulham. 

Steve Bower

Governor

Steve has just re-joined the Governing Body with an expertise in building and premises.  He was first an MJPS governor from 2013 to 2016 when we were about to start building the new school at Roehampton.   His career in social housing focused on building, funding and development.   Steve helped MJPS through the discussions to select the builders, looked at proposals and plans and worked with the builders for the eighteen month build programme as the school took shape.   Steve has degrees in Engineering and Town Planning.  He grew up in Southfields and is married with two grown-up sons.

Sarah Luke

Staff Governor

Sarah was appointed as staff governor in 2019.  She Graduated from Aberystwyth University in 2011 with a MA degree in Theatre and English.  After working as an art broker, Sarah joined Mosaic in 2015.  She trained as a teacher via the LSJS school’s direct program.  Sarah has continued her career at Mosaic and is currently head of science for the school as well as been heavily involved in the school's preforming arts. 

Lila Kanner

Lila relocated to the UK from New York, USA.
